The saying goes, “Practice makes perfect,” but sometimes it’s hard to practice by yourself. Tandem bicycling is like that. While taking photos is easy by yourself, sometimes it’s hard to get a different inspiration or motivation to actually go out and shoot something different. Outdoorsy folks end up shooting mountainscapes, indoorsy folks shoot flowers in vases, and parents end up shooting their kids (take that any way you want).
Phobloggraphy is an amateur gallery based on a weekly theme. By forcing wannabe photographers into meeting somewhat specific criteria, its goal is to get people to think outside that old box. By posting others’ submissions, everyone can see not only unique interpretations of the theme but also different applications of technique.
